Ramon Hygiene Achieves ISO 9001 Certification
Ramon Hygiene Products has achieved ISO 9001 certification, adding another internationally recognised standard to our existing quality credentials.
Quality management is nothing new to Ramon. We have worked to recognised standards for many years and continue to maintain our BRCGS certification. Achieving ISO 9001 builds on those foundations and provides further independent assurance in the way our business operates.
ISO 9001 is one of the world’s most widely recognised standards for quality management. To achieve certification, our systems and processes were independently audited to make sure they meet the requirements of the standard.
For our customers, it provides added confidence that there are robust processes behind the products and service they receive from Ramon. It also provides recognised certification for customers working with tenders, approved supplier lists or procurement processes where ISO 9001 may be required.
As both a UK manufacturer and supplier, this matters to us. Millions of cleaning products pass through our business every year, from products manufactured at our Leicestershire site to the wider range of professional cleaning consumables we source and supply. Having consistent processes in place across the business is an important part of maintaining the standards our customers expect.
Achieving ISO 9001 also comes at an exciting time for Ramon.
This year marks our 75th anniversary, and we have continued to invest in the business as we look to the future. Recent developments include significant investment in our UK mop manufacturing operation, the introduction of our patented Trinity Socket system and closer alignment with our sister company, EGL Homecare.
As the business develops, the systems supporting it need to develop too. Working towards ISO 9001 has given us an opportunity to review how we work, strengthen existing processes and make improvements where needed.
Of course, achieving the certificate isn’t the end of the job. ISO 9001 is built around continual improvement, so maintaining those standards and continuing to look for ways to improve is just as important.
After 75 years in business, we know that trust isn’t built through certificates alone. It comes from consistently delivering for customers.
