Leadership Changes Strengthen Alignment Across Ramon Hygiene and EGL Group
Ramon Hygiene Products has announced a series of leadership changes aimed at strengthening alignment with sister company EGL Homecare.
Ramon Hygiene has been part of the EGL group since its acquisition in 2015, a move that has supported the company’s position as a leading UK manufacturer of traditional cleaning products, supplying distributors across the professional cleaning and janitorial sectors.
As part of the latest changes, Stuart Walters has been appointed Group Managing Director and now takes on overall responsibility for the group’s strategic direction.
Martin Sexton, formerly Operations Director at EGL Homecare, has been appointed Group Operations Director, with a remit spanning manufacturing and operational performance across the group.
They join David Parkin, Finance Director, as part of the senior leadership team overseeing the next phase of development for the business.
The changes mark a shift towards closer operational alignment between Ramon Hygiene and EGL, bringing together commercial, manufacturing and supply chain functions across the group.
EGL Homecare is recognised as the UK’s largest manufacturer of abrasive and non-scratch scourers, as well as a leading producer of chemically bonded non-woven cloths. The closer alignment is expected to further support UK manufacturing capability and supply resilience across both businesses.
The leadership update comes at a time of continued development for Ramon Hygiene, following the recent launch of its Trinity Socket system and ongoing investment in UK mop production.
The revised leadership structure reflects a more aligned approach across the group as it continues to build on its manufacturing strengths and support distributor partners across the UK cleaning sector.
