Company

Based in the heart of the knitting industry in Leicester, Ramon Knitting Company was founded in 1951, by Mr Hans Rappolt and Mr Peter Simon, who gave their names to the business, when the company began manufacturing cleaning cloths for the domestic market. The company's name changed in 2002 to better reflect the broader product range.

The business is now into its second Management Buyout since 1996, following over 30 years of being under the ownership of Siebe plc (now Invensys). Members of the CHSA, and founder members of the CHSA Mop Accreditation Scheme; we are certified to BRC Global Standards.
